America's Attempted 'Autogolpe'

Updated: Apr 7, 2021

On January 8, 2021, Azimuth Advisor Charles Call told the Brookings Institution that the pro-Trump capitol takeover was akin to what Latin Americans would call an "autogolpe," or self-coup. Charles Call, a professor at American University and senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, is Azimuth Advisor for governance, anti-corruption, and the rule of law. To read the full Brookings Institution essay, click here.
