New U.S. Survey Wave to be Launched in 2022
Azimuth Social Research signed a contract today to work on a new project with the Center for Victims of Torture (CVT). In early 2024, we will conduct a second wave of our nationally representative survey exploring the American public's attitudes towards human rights organizations, principles and policies.
In 2018, we conducted our first survey on these issues with the support of CVT, Human Rights Watch, and Howard Lavine of the University of Minnesota. Azimuth Social Research advisors published articles on our findings in the New York Times, Washington Post, Foreign Policy, and other sources.
The new 2022 survey wave will re-interview members of the group's 2,000 strong 2018 panel, asking about their attitudes towards dozens of policy dilemmas and principles. These include excessive police force, America's treatment of refugees, and more.
The new survey will feed into CVT's ongoing advocacy work on respect for human and civil rights in the United States.
